Hi, my name's Matt Ravenscroft
And plants are my religion. If religion was delicious, nourishing, beautiful, and a lot of fun on a grill. You might know me from my restaurant, Rosalinda, where I play head chef — serving up vibrant, feel-good eats that are 100% plant-based. I’ve been cooking, and cooking plants for over a decade, at places like Parts & Labour and The Drake, where I learned my craft from some of the most talented humans in the world.
Oh, and people call me the Dirty Raven. Probably because that’s always been my Instagram handle.
Plants are the future. Because of the environment, because of health, because of ethics, because of cost, and because they are insanely delicious if you know some basics about cooking them. You don’t need any fancy tools or difficult techniques. The problem is that most people are still pretty intimidated by them. Changing that is my mission.
